Our ministry in Draganesti and the surrounding villages continue! After a morning of prayer/intercession, we headed out for home visits, kids’ ministry, and missionary encouragement. Abbi and Courtney worked with young Romanian children teaching them to count to 10 in Romanian! Lauren, Connor, Kaitlyn, Bella, and Shane had an unplanned but interesting religious discussion with Orthodox Romanians! Krista, Carson, Brenden, and Ethan, spent time in a nearby village doing home visits and sharing their stories of how they came to Christ. Tonk, Anna, MacKenzie, and Jake, split into two teams to do home visits and share their testimonies. That wasn’t all they split (see Jake below!). And Jonny, Abby, Matti, and Haley, spent time in a nearby village visiting with Romanians and enjoying unexpected treats - coffe, desserts, and snacks! While we’ve so enjoyed sharing the Gospel, we’ve also enjoyed getting to know the missionaries of Hope Church as we’ve been in their homes, prayed with them, and shared meals with them. After we had yet another delicious meal prepared by Raul’s wife, Anna, we settled into a prolonged period of worship led by Connor and Bella. An amazing way to end the day!

“Have you ever been arrested?” “No, but I have been in a Romanian prison...” We kicked off today with a killer breakfast, shout out to Carson who got up at 5:30 on accident and started cooking. What more can you ask for than a pancake nutella sandwich (btw I’m waiting for the day I can find spreadable chocolate in a bucket that big in America)? Then we split the group, half of us went to prison and the other half did street evangelism (No electronics in the prison, no pics available). Brenden and Shane shared their testimonies in prison like the rock stars they are, what a powerful experience! And what better to follow them then Anna Giek singing amazing grace? Meanwhile, the street crew was handing out pamphlets to people and filling mailboxes in 4 whole apartment complexes, and you can bet “those paninis don’t even know what’s comin for em” (thank you, Jonny). A full day of ministry in Draganesti! We are beginning each day with prayer/intercession. It’s so good to set our hearts and minds toward the Lord! Afterwards, we headed out to several different ministry locations. Mackenzie and Anna spent time ministering to children.  Many enjoyed home visits: Haley, Shane, Carson, and Krista joined Alexi; Abby, Matti, Courtney, Brenden, Jake, and Tonk, joined Tavi; Jonny, Ethan, Connor, and Shane joined Jean Vlad. Each team visited many families, handing out food bags, sharing testimonies, and praying for their needs. Abbi, Kaitlyn, and Bella, joined Dorothey as they ministered to widows and Romanians who are physically challenged. What a day they had! Many of the students stepped out in faith as they shared their testimonies and prayed for these wonderful people. We were greatly encouraged by the joy and strength of the Romanian believers and missionaries as they continue to live by faith without many material means.

This morning we enjoyed a great view of Draganesti from atop a hill that overlooks the city. Great photo opps! This afternoon we all enjoyed assisting Pastors Paul and Alex with a youth event in a local park. Hours spent playing soccer, volleyball, Romanian games, all proved to be fun! Afterwards, Bella and Connor led in songs, Carson and Bella shared their testimonies, and, Tonk shared a message. We’re praying that seeds would’ve been planted in this village outreach! Tomorrow we will spend the day in four different churches, each student participating in either preaching, worship, or testimonies. Excited!
